<br />in this section shall be designated as a Senior Police <br />Sergeant I and shall be paid at a rate set fifteen (15) salary <br />rate ranges (7.5%) above his or her then current base monthly <br />salary step. The criteria for such designation shall be as <br />follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Completion of five <br />experience. <br /> <br />(5 ) <br /> <br />years of municipal police <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Completion (acquisition) of at <br />educational and/or training units. <br /> <br />least <br /> <br />sixty (60) <br /> <br />C. Approval of the Police Chief. <br /> <br />6.7 Senior Police Serqeant II. Any officer holding the rank of <br />Police Sergeant in the Santa Ana Police Department, regardless <br />of duty assignment, who fulfills the requirements established <br />in this section shall be designated as a Senior Police <br />Sergeant II and shall be paid at a rate set twenty (20) salary <br />rate ranges (10%) above his or her then current base monthly <br />salary step in the Police Sergeant class. The criteria for <br />such designation shall be as follows: <br /> <br />A. Completion of seven (7) years of municipal police <br />experience. <br /> <br />B. Completion (acquisition) of at least ninety (90) <br />educational and/or training units; or possession of an <br />Associate of Arts academic degree from an accredited <br />college with an additional thirty (30) or more education <br />or training units. <br /> <br />C. Approval of the Police Chief. <br /> <br />6.8 Senior Police Serqeant III. Any officer holding the rank of <br />Police Sergeant in the Santa Ana Police Department, regardless <br />of duty assignment, who fulfills the requirements established <br />in this section shall be designated as a Senior Police <br />Sergeant III and shall be paid at a rate set twenty-five (25) <br />salary rate ranges (12.5%) above his or her then current base <br />monthly salary step in the Police Sergeant class. The criteria <br />for such designation shall be as follows: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Completion of nlne <br />experience. <br /> <br />(9 ) <br /> <br />years of municipal police <br /> <br />B. Completion (acquisition) of at least one hundred twenty <br />(120) educational/training units; or possession of an <br />Associate of Arts academic degree from an accredited <br /> <br />22 <br />
