<br />· Orange County Business Council (OCBC) <br />OCBC serves as the advocate for corporate business in Orange <br />County. Verches Associates served as a consultant to OCBC and <br />has a very strong relationship with Lucy Dunn, other key staff, <br />and equally important, many of its key board members <br />including Dan Miller, Chairman of the OCBC Board and the <br />Irvine Company, Peter Villegas with Washington Mutual, Tom <br />Phelps with Manatt Phelps" and Ron di Luigi and Chris Leo <br />with St Joseph's Hospital Systems. <br />· The Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce <br />The Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce represents business <br />interests-at-large in Santa Ana and plays a major role in a <br />number of community projects and activities throughout the <br />city. Verches Associates has a strong relationship with Mr. <br />Porras, the current chair, the chamber staff, and many of its <br />current and past executive board members. The Chamber can <br />serve asa conduit for information and is a formidable ally on <br />city related issues, <br />· Hispanic Chamber of Orange County (HCOC) <br />HCOC represents over 500 small and large Hispanic businesses <br />in Orange County and especially Santa Ana. V erches Associates <br />has a strong and active TOle with the Chamber and many of its <br />board members including 'the current chair, Reuben Franco. <br />Many of the board members also serve on other organizations in <br />Santa Ana and are key links into the community. <br />· Santa Ana Rotary Club <br />The Santa Ana Rotary is one of the oldest and most active civic <br />organizations in Santa Ana. Verches Associates has been <br />involved in a number of Rotary activities focused on the under- <br />served neighborhoods of the city. Wayne Olmstead and the <br />Rotary Club's continued activism through the cities <br />underserved communities serve as a strong influence in these <br />communities. <br />· Los Amigos and L ULAC of Orange County <br />Los Amigos and LULAC are the oldest local Latino advocacy <br />groups in the county and are very involved in the central <br />Orange County area including Santa Ana. Many of the board <br />members, including Amin David, are longtime community <br />activists and have deep roots in Santa Ana's Latino <br />neighborhoods. Verches Associates often consults with Los <br />Amigos and LULAC and has a very strong relationship with <br />both organizations and many of its members. <br /> <br />
