<br />ALTERNETNETWORKSPROPRIETARY <br /> <br />final designs which shall include block diagrams in final form, functional drawings, final product <br />specification, Interface Control Documents and all other required drawings. <br />Emphasis shall be placed on the plan for design validation and acceptance testing as well as the <br />analyses, hardware commonality, or other test results needed to support the designs presented. <br />The Consultant shall present the Design Acceptance and Site Acceptance test plans for review. <br />A Cable Management Database shall be provided that defines all Next Generation Surveillance <br />System cabling. The database shall uniquely track all physical cables, logical cables (i.e. multi- <br />segment cable runs) and routing path in any and all owned and/or operated City of Santa Ana <br />facilities, streets, intersections, crossways, highways, train crossings, leased lines and/or city <br />owned data installations. <br />Upon CDR completion, all Next Generation Surveillance System and subsystem detailed design <br />shall exist which implements all contractual requirements. To the extent the Consultant's fmal <br />designs will create specifications for the Next Generation Surveillance System, the parties shall <br />work in good faith towards a mutually agreeable specification for all SAPD and SAPD deemed <br />facilities. <br />The CDR process shall consist of the following: <br /> <br />· Delivery to SAPD, two (2) business days prior to the review, of the CDR Data Package <br />including: <br />Detailed Next Generation Surveillance System drawings (layouts, elevations, GPS, cable <br />synoptics, schematics, wire lists, etc.) - SAPD shall help supply any required data <br />Detailed interface drawings <br />Test plans for Next Generation Surveillance System at SAPD and throughout the City of <br />Santa Ana, and system test to be supplied near the completion of the project. <br /> <br />. Conduct CDR. <br /> <br />· Develop written response, within 5 business days, to any SAPD comments not resolved at the <br />review. <br /> <br />. Identification of compliance issues to ICD requirements <br />Completion of the CDR milestone shall be deemed complete when the CDR process is complete <br />as defined above, and that SAPD provides written confirmation that a final design is complete. <br /> <br />6.2 Ad Hoc Desim Reviews <br />Ad hoc design reviews will be held as required. The Consultant shall provide a summary of <br />direction and decisions reached in ad hoc meetings within five (5) working days after the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />6.3 Interface Control Workine: Groups <br />The Consultant shall participate in Interface Control Working Groups (ICWG's) as needed. <br />These meetings will be held when necessary to work out interface and interoperability issues <br />between different SAPD hardware, software and other vendors. ICWG's will also insure that the <br />lCD's are complete and accurate. ICWG meetings shall continue through site design and <br />engineering of the Next Generation Surveillance System. In some cases, SAPD may require the <br />Consultant to directly communicate with other vendors to ensure interface compatibility and <br /> <br />17 <br />
