• consist of almost 16,900 square feet•of area and would include <br />two multi-purpose rooms, a teen center, a child watch area- and <br />locker rooms. The second floor would encompass approximately <br />15,500 square feet. of area and would contain three exercise <br />rooms, a wellness center and staff offices and storage area. <br />Situated behind the building would be a swimming pool, a <br />whirlpool, a speed soccer arena, and a teen adventure and rock- <br />climbing wall. <br />,. <br />C7 <br />A total of 203 parking stalls are required for the project. <br />However, a total of 116 would be provided. To meet the parking <br />standard, a minor exception would be required to allow the <br />project to share parking with the future Catholic Cathedral to <br />the east. <br />Environmental Impact Analysis <br />The following is an environmental analysis on the proposed <br />project based on the City of Santa Ana's CEQA Environmental <br />Checklist Form. The analysis incorporates by reference the <br />analysis and findings provided for in the Armstrong Ranch Final <br />Environmental Impact Report. For each environmental issue, the <br />analysis identifies the level of impact that is anticipated to <br />occur. Where applicable, mitigation measures from the Armstrong <br />Ranch Final Environmental Impact Report have been identified to <br />reduce potentially significant impacts. Additionally, the <br />environmental analysis has been supplemented with site-specific <br />mitigation measures to mitigate site-specific impacts. <br />I. AESTHETICS <br />A. Have a substantial adverse effect on a'scenic vista? <br />B. Damage scenic resources, including but not limited to <br />trees, rock outpourings and historic buildings within a <br />State highway? <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br />The project site is situated within an urban setting and <br />surrounded by developed land. uses. There are no scenic vistas or <br />scenic resources within the immediate vicinity of the project <br />site. Therefore, implementation of the proposed project would <br />not result in adverse impacts to any scenic vista or scenic <br />resources along a State Highway. <br /> <br />~~ ~~ 15 <br />
