Ed Naumann <br />Project Manager, PMP <br />Lawson Software, Inc. <br />Summary of Qualifications <br />Ed is a project manager within the Lawson Professional Services division. His nearly 20 years of <br />consulting and project management experience in the information technology industry includes <br />diverse settings primarily in healthcare, education, government/public sector, retail and <br />manufacturing. His healthcare focus includes hospitals and academic medical centers, integrated <br />delivery systems, health plans, and community clinics. His education and government focus <br />includes school districts and water districts. His retail experience includes Fortune 50 companies. <br />He has strong interpersonal and technology skills that have successfully completed over 80 <br />process improvement and information systems implementations. He has developed solutions <br />implementation methodologies and taught over 1,500 professionals. <br />Ed thrives in team -based problem solving situations. He manages relationships with executives <br />and steering committees, client subject experts, consulting team members and partner <br />organizations to bring diverse team efforts on implementations. He has managed small to very <br />large engagements, from 5 to 200 member project teams, single location to multi -site and multi- <br />state deployments. He has implemented all Lawson suites (Human Resources, Financials, and <br />Procurement). Ed is based in Long Beach, California. <br />Lawson Experience <br />Ed's work experience includes the following engagements: <br />• Currently the project manager for a school district with 33 facilities, 41,000 students and <br />6,500 employees. Work includes leading a team of client and Lawson consultants, <br />developing a custom time entry process, working with the district leadership for <br />organizational and workflow change, and implementing the HCM suite with <br />employee /manager self - service. Ed manages resources, budgets and deliverable <br />completions. His project is being used by the District as a model for its future <br />implementations. <br />• Currently the project manager for a municipal water district serving a community of over <br />150,000 people. Work includes leading a team of client, Lawson and 3rd party <br />consultants implementing the financial, human capital management and procurement <br />suites as well as Lawson Business Intelligence. <br />Provided project management for a Fortune 50 retail client undertaking an upgrade to <br />LSF9, as well as participating in a business process improvement effort which identified <br />additional Lawson modules to be implemented in support of their business objectives. <br />Managed the resources on numerous simultaneous and interdependent projects, <br />including implementation planning, technical support, issues and relationship <br />management. <br />Directed the Lawson Implementation Program for one of the largest Healthcare Delivery <br />Systems in California, with over 23 hospitals. Work included leading a system -wide <br />steering committee as well as 200+ member project teams developing a common <br />conceptual design, developing and testing the CRP, and implementing pilot sites. The <br />project included all Lawson products. Many of his program's implementation tools and <br />methodology formed the basis for the company's other system -wide implementation <br />projects. <br />• Managed an operational and system design review of the Lawson HR suite for a hospital <br />that had previously been implemented. The project included a re- implementation that <br />substantially increased throughput, implemented substantial additional functionality and <br />dramatically improved user and executive satisfaction with the module. <br />Lawson Software - Confidential 32 <br />
