• Separate pricing is requested for replacing all conduit with 1'/z-inch conduit <br />installed 18 to 36 inches below grade. <br />• Remove potheads from street light poles as work progresses. <br />• Remove all pull boxes except for required boxes as work progresses. <br />• Install new globes. <br />• This is a working system; system must be de-energized each morning and re- <br />energized each afternoon. Contractor is responsible for keeping street lighting <br />system operational. <br />• Lockout/tagout is required. <br />• Proper disposal or recycling of hazardous materials is required. <br />• Work shall start from the service point and proceed to completion of one circuit <br />prior to starting work on another circuit. <br />• All connections must be made by the end of each day as the system shall be <br />energized each evening. At no time can a cable be left unconnected prior to <br />energizing. <br />• All return lines must be separate and identifiable. <br />• A sketch of a typical cable replacement is attached. <br />The City acknowledges the complexity of this project, the scope of work requested and <br />that unforeseen work may be required during the scope of the project. A map showing <br />street light locations and service points is attached to this proposal (EXHIBIT A-1). <br />Funding will be allocated over a three or four year period until the work is completed. <br />The City, at the discretion of the Director, reserves the right to decrease the scope of <br />work during the duration of the agreement <br />The Contractor shall provide at his own risk and cost all labor, materials, tools, <br />equipment, traffic control and miscellaneous devices, transportation, hauling, dumping, <br />recycling of construction and demolition material, and proper disposal and/or recycling of <br />hazardous materials as part of this project. <br />II.
