In this regard, CITY advises SU BRECI PI ENT that Subpart M requires HQS <br />i nspecti on of each dwel I i ng unit pri or to occupancy and pri or to comp) i ance wi th appl i cabl e <br />roti fi c:ati on, eval uati on by vi suai fit, reducti on through pa nt stabi I ization uti I izi ng safe <br />work practi ces, and d earance requi rements of the L BP REGS. <br />(e) Lead Hazard Reduction Work. SUBRECI PI ENT shall cause LBP hazard <br />reducti on, such as psi nt stabi I i zati on, i sten m control s, standard treatments, or abatement of all I <br />residenti a property that i s under its ownershi p, possessi on, or control and/or resi denti a property <br />occupied by persons or fami I i es that recei ve fi nanci al or other assi stance from SUBRECI PI ENT, <br />except as exempted asdescribed in subsecti on 4(d) (i) (1) above. <br />(1) If pant stabi I izati on occurs, SU BRECI PI ENT shall cause pai nt <br />stabi I izati on of each deters orated surface and dearance of res denti a units pursuant to Secti on <br />35.1330(a) and (b) shal I occur before occupancy of a vacant dwel I i ng uni t, or where a uni t i s <br />occupi ed, i mmedi atel y after reo pt of the CDBG FU N DS hereunder. <br />(2) Safe Work Practi ces shal I be used i n al I L BP hazard reducti on work. <br />(3) Cl earance shat I be conducted to confi rm that no L BP hazards remai n <br />when LBP hazard reduction work is complete Confirmation of d earance by written certification <br />of a qualified inspector is required on an annual basis in connection with submittal of the Apri I <br />15 quarterly report. <br />(f) Ongoi nq M ai ntenanoa SUBRECI PI ENT shal I i ncorporate ongoi ng L BP <br />mai ntenance acti vi ti es i nto regal ar bui Idi ng operati ons i n accordance wi th Secti on 35.1355(a) for <br />all residential property that is under its ownership, possession, or control and/or residential <br />Property occupi ed by persons or fami I i es that recei ve fi nand al or other assi stance from <br />SU BRECI PI ENT, except as exempted as described in subsection 4(d)(i)(1) above. <br />0 <br />
