The <br />work included highway geometrics, preliminary and final design, intersection design, grading, pavement <br />design, and drainage design. URS also performed the field survey and prepared the biological resources <br />report <br />Traffic Engineer: Noel Ceail, PE k <br />The City of Pasadena retained URS to prepare channelization plans to Personnel <br />improve the segment of South El Molino Avenue between California ?. <br />Boulevard and Oak Knoll Circle to reduce traffic speed and improve " I Engineering Improvements <br />roadway safety. Key project tasks included the preparation of signing and sniping plans to be used in the <br />construction of physical improvements aimed at calming traffic along this street. Additional civil engineering <br />improvements, such as curb and gutter realignment, grading and drainage improvements associated with the final <br />design were also included to match with the required street profile to facilitate the flow of street runoff. <br />Ill. Over a span of two <br />years, 18 separate projects were completed on schedule and within budget. Due to the volume of work required <br />and the aggressive nature of several project schedules, URS mobilized up to three design teams concurrently to <br />meet the client's needs. Projects completed under this contract included parking lot reconstruction, roadway <br />reconstruction and/or overlay repairs, drainage improvements, design of a native tree park, airfield pavement <br />repairs, sewer system studies, retaining walls, landscaping restoration, landslide repairs, utility improvements and <br />minor structural and architectural improvement projects. <br />1.3 Subconsultant Projects <br />Coast performed survey research at the City of Santa Ana and the County ?lt` <br />of Orange for horizontal and vertical control, centerline ties, right-of-way Protects Performed by Key Personnel <br />maps, record maps, and any other pertinent information. As part of that on-call contract, Tatsumi and Partners completed two park <br />renovation/upgrade PS&E packages: Santiago Park and Morison Park.
