Proposal for Parking Citation Services City of Santa Ana — November 5, 2008 <br />immediately by closing the citation with a payment, void, dismissal, review, or hearing <br />disposition, or even suspending the citation due date. Notices are generated daily and <br />mailed within 8 hours of creation. <br />The Notices are mailed out on a Red, Black and White form mailed in a #10 envelope <br />with the Agency Name identified and meeting all the criteria as identified in CVC 40207. <br />Additionally CITY can remotely view and reprint the Delinquent notice. The notice also <br />includes, a tear off remittance stub with a # 9 remittance envelope. <br />The number of days between the citation issue date and the notice mailing date may be <br />any length of time (between 0 - 99 days). The time frames established by CITY are <br />based on the need to coordinate the due date with procedures for contesting the <br />citation, or payment instructions. This will assist with preventing overlapping time <br />periods and may be adjusted at any time by CITY. The information captured from the <br />citation will be included on the Notice, which includes: <br />A. Registered owner name and address, B. Vehicle license number, <br />C. Issuing Agency Name, <br />E. Citation number, <br />G. Date issued, <br />I. Violation description, <br />K. Amount of fine to clear the citation, <br />M. How to pay the citation, <br />N. Payee Name, <br />P. Last date to contest the citation, <br />D. Vehicle make /model <br />(Citation and DMV). <br />F. Location, <br />H. Violation code, <br />J. Time issued, <br />L. Date payment is due, <br />N. Return address for payment, <br />O. Notice Mail Date, <br />Q. Partial payment previously made, and remaining amount due <br />R. Custom verbiage for a special custom message such as payment or contesting <br />procedures, which may be determined by CITY and is flexible to change at any time or <br />as needed. <br />The Notice will be sent to the registered owner the DMV has on file at the time the <br />citation was issued. <br />25 <br />
