Proposal for Parking Citation Services City of Santa Ana — November 5, 2008
in Section 9.
2.41 Website Management
One of the basic mechanisms of the Internet is the use of links from one location to
another, frequently referred to as or "hyperlinking ". This is a powerful tool that allows
Phoenix Group as a remote location to manage or maintain data for a client.
Using this method will allow Phoenix Group to maintain a parking page for the City of
Santa Ana if needed or requested. This process is currently provided to many of our
clients. The City's website will refer a link that may be represented by text or images
and permits the viewer on the Linking Page for immediate access to the Linked Page
simply by clicking on the text or image.
Once the user has landed on our website, by using the City's Custom link, we will
provide the user to access the information needed. Such information that can be
provided is:
1. City ordinances and associated fines
2. City Rules and regulations on contesting a Parking Citation
3. Customer Agency forms for contesting
4. How to purchase a Parking Permit
5. Parking related Ordinances.
These are some examples that can be maintained for the City. The City would be
responsible for providing the information and editing the data for the public.
2.42 Processing Time lines
The processing time lines are directed by the Agency. The following is provided as a
guideline to reflect what to expect from a normal schedule or routine. The majority of all
the scheduled events are custom for each agency. For example
1. Number of days before a notice is generated 1 — 99 or, typically 21 days,
2. Number of days before a hold is sent to DMV - variable
Manually written citations (hard copy): All citations are entered and on -line within 24 - 48
hours of receipt.
55
