Proposal for Parking Citation Services City of Santa Ana — November 5 2008 <br />The WINCITE.NeT (host) system is running on a Microsoft Server 2003 <br />platform, Clustered SQL Server databases and is powered with duel, duo core, <br />Intel 3.0 GHz microprocessors, supported by a RAID 51 configuration. Our <br />software is upgraded and/or enhanced on a very regular basis, in response to <br />client requests and in adherence to Microsoft standards. Our system has been <br />designed to keep up with client needs and allow enhancements to be <br />incorporated in our system with very little downtime. Our MIS department is in <br />the process of several upgrades that will take place before the end of the year. <br />However, our current system components include the following: <br />• High -speed Internet - (T1) Broadband Connection <br />• Dedicated ARDC line to Sacramento (DMV communications) <br />• 10/100 Ethernet network <br />• Dedicated servers to services. <br />• X2 Web Severs <br />■ X2 Load Balancing Appliances (for High availability) <br />• X2 SQL Database Servers (SQL Cluster) <br />• X1 Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) Server <br />o X1 DMV Communications Server <br />o X1 FTP Server (for easy upload and download of transactions and <br />reports) <br />• Microsoft SQL Server (Database engine) <br />• Windows Server 2003 Platform with RAID 51 <br />• X2 3COM BASELINE SWITCH 2250 <br />• Cisco PIX Firewall <br />Disaster Recovery: <br />With the components listed below we can quickly handle any disaster recovery by <br />restoring any of the services to another server in the event of failure <br />1 Combines data striping (for enhanced performance) with distributed parity (for data protection) to provide a recovery path in case <br />of failure. <br />65 <br />
