<br />Responses to <br />Environmental Checklist <br />For CEQA Compliance <br />D. Be located on a site which is located on a list of hazardous materials sites <br />compiled pursuant to Government Code Section 659662.5 and, as a result, would <br />it create a significant hazard to the public or the environment? <br />Findin No Impact. <br />Analvsis: The proposed project area is not identified on any list of hazardous materials <br />sites compiled pursuant to Government Code Section 659662.5; therefore, a <br />significant impact would not occur. <br />E. For a project located within an airport land use plan or where such a plan has not <br />been adopted, within two miles where of a public airport or public use airport, <br />would the project result in a safety hazard for people residing or working in the <br />project area? <br />Finding: No Impact. <br />Analysis: Although the project site is located within the Airport Influence Area for the John <br />Wayne Airport, the project would not result in the introduction of new residents <br />into the area. As such, the project would not result in any increase in airport <br />hazards for people residing or working in the project area, and no impacts would <br />occur. <br />F. For a project within the vicinity of a private airstrip, would the project result in a <br />safety hazard for people residing or working in the project area? <br />Finding: No impact. <br />Analvsis: There are no private airstrips within the project vicinity; therefore, a significant <br />impact would not occur. <br />G. Impair implementation of or physically interfere with an adopted emergency <br />response plan or emergency evacuation plan? <br />Findin No Impact. <br />Analysis: The improvements proposed as part of the project would not affect or hinder the <br />preparedness or ability of public agencies to respond in the event of an <br />emergency situation. Upon project completion, all roadway surface <br />improvements would be returned to their pre-construction condition. During <br />construction, existing roadways would remain open and would not hinder <br />emergency ingress and egress to the area. <br />H, Expose people or structure to a significant risk of loss, injury or death involving <br />wildland fires, including where wildlands are adjacent to urbanized areas or where <br />residences are intermixed with wildlands? <br />Finding: No Impact. <br />Page 48 of 64 <br />75E-52 <br />
