Agreements for Janitorial Service <br />August 3, 2009 <br />Page 2 <br />Current agreements for janitorial <br />were extended for two months while <br />for Proposal (RFP) was solicited < <br />request sent and offers received is <br />service expired on June 30, 2009 and <br />staff evaluated proposals. Proposals were <br />evaluated on the responsiveness to requested specifications and documents, <br />quality and quantity of equipment and supplies to be provided, references, <br />pricing, level of service proposed in a submitted Quality Control program, <br />qualification of janitorial staff, supervisors and agreement <br />administrator, and documented financial stability and resources. The <br />offers received from Pacific Building Care and Bell Building Maintenance <br />Company received the highest percentage in the scoring process and meets <br />or exceeds the evaluation criteria. Svcs 38.750 24.67% 20.67% <br />Kims Cleaning no offer no offer 37.33% <br />Pacific Building Care has provided janitorial service at The Depot for the <br />past contract period of five years and has continued to perform at a level <br />of attentiveness that meets or exceeds our requirements. However, the <br />agreement ended June 30, 2009, and an extension was issued to continue <br />service through August 31, 2009. The proposed new agreement will extend <br />through June 30, 2011, in the annual amount of $160,000. The contract <br />includes all cleaning and paper supplies for an annual savings to the City <br />of $24,251. <br />25C-2 <br />
