G. CITIZEN COMMENTS <br />The City of Santa Ana ensured it complied with its Citizen Participation Plan by providing the <br />public an opportunity to review and comment on this annual performance report. A 15-day <br />comment period was held from August 3, 2009, through August 18, 2009. The Redevelopment <br />and Housing Commission of the City of Santa Ana held the required public hearing to review <br />this document on August 18, 2009. Notice of the comment period and public hearing was <br />published on August 3, 2009, in the following newspapers: <br />^ English: Orange County Register <br />^ Spanish: La Opinon <br />^ Vietnamese: Nguoi Viet News <br />The "Proof of Publication" (Orange County Register only) and a summary of public comments <br />are provided in EXHIBIT 2. <br />32 <br />Draft 8/26/2009 <br />19F-38 <br />
