Task 2-C: Leveraged Pledge Drives <br /> Objective: <br /> Explore opportunities through the ROC Steering Committee to partner with key county <br /> organizations to help drive community-wide emergency preparedness pledges. <br /> Task Description: <br /> Work with the ROC Steering Committee to target the OC Fair, Angels and the Ducks for <br /> no-cost and/or in-kind support for the ROC campaign. The scope of these drives will be <br /> proportional to the ability of the committees (or Corporate Advisory Council) to leverage <br /> relationships to minimize or eliminate promotional and/or sponsorship costs. Currently, <br /> there is no UASI grant funding allocated to the 2010 ROC campaign budget. Minimally, <br /> ROC can establish some type of canvassing effort at each venue to drive emergency <br /> awareness, promote the Pledge to Prepare and capture pledges. <br /> Responsibilities: <br /> WBC shall: <br /> a. Work with ROC Steering Committee and/or Corporate Advisory Council to <br /> support inquiries as appropriate <br /> Santa Ana shall: <br /> a. Work with ROC Steering Committee and/or Corporate Advisory Council to <br /> support inquiries as appropriate <br /> Completion Criteria: <br /> This task is currently unbudgeted. Criteria will be established pending resource <br /> commitment from a sponsoring organization. <br /> Task 3: Corporate Advisory Council <br /> Objective: <br /> Re-establish group of business and community leaders who have experience in <br /> emergency response and/or marketing and engage them in supporting ROC. <br /> Task Description: <br /> The council will be designed to bring leaders together to help provide opportunities, <br /> extensions, and ongoing support for ReadyOC. <br /> <br /> Responsibilities: <br /> See sub-tasks for specifics. <br /> 25A-19 <br /> <br />
