The following are the positions that will be <br />funded along with highlights of our qualified staff: Tony Hord, Supervisor (FTE 13.5%~ <br />Has more than 12 years of experience in managing youth and adult projects under a <br />variety of funding resources and managing case managers, job developers and trainers. <br />He also has extensive experience working with youth offenders between the ages of 14 <br />to 21; is familiar with after-school programming, leadership development, life skill <br />workshops and is familiar with the Southern California economic climate and high <br />growth industries. He has spent some time developing relationships with Labor Unions <br />and Employers in order to connect them with workforce development. He understands <br />the importance of meeting program goals and program performance. Possess a B.A <br />from Loyola and an N.D. from Trinity College. He is also a Certified Life Coach. <br />Currently, he is enrolled in Cornell University's Organizational Management Program. <br />He will provide program guidance for meeting program performance measures and <br />accountability, staff oversight, monitoring, staff training and coaching; and other <br />managerial duties as required. Yvonne Elizondo, Lead Case Manager (FTE 20%) Ms. <br />Elizondo has more than 10 years of experience working as a case manager and brings <br />with her tremendous insight into building solid relationships with participants. She is <br />very familiar with WIA processes and understands how to effectively leverage <br />resources. She is a graduate of Arizona State and has also received her Certification in <br />substance Abuse Counseling. She will provide case management, oversight of <br />outreach and recruitment, coordination of services; leveraging of resources and provide <br />staff with successful techniques to maintain the engagement of youth in the program. <br />Ms. Elizondo will also provide Life skills workshops and NRF Customer Service <br />Certification Training. Jessica Ku, Jr. Case Manager (FTE 100%) Ms. Ku has over 4 <br />years of experience working with offenders and other high-risk populations and <br />understands the processes of co-enrollment and the leveraging of both internal and <br />external resources. Previously as KCCD Youth Workforce Program Case Manger, Ms. <br />Ku worked to improve the employment outcomes for Asian at-risk and adjudicated youth <br />in Los Angeles and Orange County through collaborations, advocacy and program <br />development. Passionate about building the capacity of the community, Ms. Ku has <br />empowered her community as the APEX Co-Chair of Special Events, Project New <br />Speak Director of Community Outreach, Host of GBC AM 1190 "Meeting the Next <br />Generation", Advisor on NAPAFASA AAPI Impaired Driving Prevention Project's <br />Advisory Committee, and Legal Investigative Intern at D.C. Prisoners' Legal Services <br />Project. As an AmeriCorps*VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) alum, Jessica <br />dedicated a year of service to combating poverty in Los Angeles and Orange County. <br />Ms. Ku graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in <br />Criminology, Law & Society. She will provide case management, guidance and <br />counseling; job readiness workshops and job development for participants. ReEtta <br />Pyburn, Clerical Support (FTE 9%) provides administrative support for The BRIDGE. <br />She is certified as a Customer Service Specialist and provides an excellent example to <br />the youth in our programs. <br />Page ~ 13 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
