Position location: <br />Status : <br />Salary Range: <br />Reporting to: <br />Travel requirements: <br />Remote Work: <br />9/80 Work Schedule: <br />DESCRIPTION: <br />\ Yorking \ \bnlrobes <br />Wardrobe Services Specialist <br />Sa nta Ana, CA <br />Non-Exempt, Full-time <br />$ 24 -$26/hr <br />Career Deve lopment Manager <br />15% Local travel by car <br />This position is NOT eligib le for remote wo r k. <br />This position is eligible for a 9/80 Alternative Work Schedule. <br />Report in g to the Career Development Manager, the Wardrobe Servi ces Specialist is responsible for managing the <br />daily operations of our Wardrobe department and all client wardrobe events offs ite and onsite, and oversees a <br />core group of 35 vo lunteers, in cluding; a recruitment and training pr ogram for volunteers ch arged with inventory <br />management and stock rotati o n, as we ll as pe rsonal shoppers t hat work directly with cl ients to dress them <br />appropriately for the workpl ace. <br />This position requires strong organ izatio n ski ll s and fa shi on sense with experience in r etai l and inventory <br />management that can pl an and prepare for client wardrobing serv ices. This experience di rectly impacts the ability <br />to develop and maintain par leve ls by gender and size and mainta in a clothing rotation sched ule that allows items <br />that have n ot been se lected in Wardrobin g to be sent to the Resa le Stores for pub li c sa l e. <br />The Ward robe Services Specia list w ill ove rsee clothing inventory management, floor and off-site location <br />merchandising, and work with the Donatio n Ce nter and Retai l tea m s to rota te stock as appropriate. Co lla boration <br />is required w ith the Client Services team to plan veteran /client services and events; to plan off-site events; <br />con ne ct w it h nonprofit and co mmunit y partners to generate and manage wardrobe service co ntracts; and work <br />with the Development Team to establish and grow corporate partnerships for clothing donations. Add itiona ll y, <br />this individual wi ll play a l ead ro le in th e logistics of all cl ient events in cluding planning and exec ution, wor king <br />closely with the People Operations Manager and Career Deve lopment Manager to ensure smooth and successful <br />eve nts. <br />The Wardrobe Serv ices Specialist is an essenti al part of a highly f un ct ion ing Clie nt Serv ices team t ha t se rve s a <br />diverse cl ien t base of veterans, adults, youth, those changing career pa ths, and the underemployed that includes <br />exceptiona l presentat ion sk ills t o lead vo lunteer training and client workshops. For off-site success events, t he <br />Wardrobe Se rvi ces Spec ialist must train groups of new volunteers in a short time pe ri od before the event beg in s to <br />ensure success. <br />Our Cli ent Wardrobe Services is a sig nificant revenue ge nerator for the o rganization as well as a foundationa l cli ent <br />se rvice.
