Supportive Services for Work Experience <br />Participants may rec e ive supportive serv ices to ensure succe ssful partic ipation in work <br />experi ence, including: <br />1. Transportation assistance (bus passes, gas cards). <br />2 . Childcare suppo1t. <br />3. Work attire or unifo1111 s. <br />4. Tools or equipment required for the job. <br />5. Technology access (Wi-Fi , laptop s, etc.). <br />Participants must submit a Supportive Services Request Form and document their effo1t s to <br />obtain assistance from other sources be fore rec e iving suppo1tive serv ices through WIOA funds. <br />10. Reporting and Documentation <br />1. Case managers must maintain a case file for each p artic ipant, including: <br />2. Completed work experience agreement. <br />3. A ca demi c and occupationa l education plan. <br />4. Attendance records and p erfo1mance evaluations. <br />5. Document ation of supportive serv ices prov id ed. <br />6. Case notes deta iling partic ipant progress and ch allenges . <br />11 . Compliance and Oversight <br />Local areas must comply w ith the requirement to sp end at least 20% of WIOA youth formula <br />fund s on work experience. Compliance will b e m onitored through: <br />1. Quarterly expenditure reviews. <br />2. Partic ipant outcome tracking. <br />3.
