CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ATTACHMENT U <br />CERTIFICATION REGARDING LOBBYING <br />The und ersigned ce1tifies, to the best of hi s or her knowledge and belief, that: <br />1) No Federal appropriated funds have be en paid or w ill be paid, by or on behalf of the undersigned, to any <br />per son for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any organization, a Member of <br />Congress in connection with the awarding of any Federal contract , the making of any Federal grant, the <br />making of any Federal loan, th e entering into of any cooperative agreement, and the extension , continuation, <br />renewal, amendment, or modification of any Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement. <br />2) If any funds other than Federal approp1i ated funds have been paid or will b e paid to any p erson for <br />influencing or attempting to influence an officer or e mployee of an y organization, a Member of Congress, <br />an officer or empl oyee of Congress, or an employee of a member of Congress in connection w ith this <br />Federal contract, grant, l oan, or cooperative agreement, the undersigned shall complete and submit Standard <br />Form-LLL, "Di sclosure F otm t o Repott Lobbying ." in accordance w ith its in structio ns. <br />3) The undersigned shall require that the language of th is ce1tific ati on be included in the award documents for <br />all subawards at a ll ti e rs (inc luding agreeme nts) and that all s ubrecipie nt's shall ce1t ify an d disc lose <br />accordingly. <br />This ce1tifica tion is a material representation of fact upon which reliance was placed when this transaction <br />w as made or entered into.
