ReadyC <br />Orange Coun ty's emergency preparedness resource <br />TASK 7: MICRO CAMPAIGN: YOUNG ADULT READINESS <br />Objective: Increase disaster preparedness among young adults in Orange County by <br />launching a targeted outreach campaign that equips them with the knowledge and <br />tools to respond effectively during emergencies such as earthquakes, wildfires, and <br />other natural disasters. <br />Task Description: <br />Develop and implement a micro -campaign designed to reach young adults through <br />relevant platforms and messaging styles. The goal is to make emergency preparedness <br />accessible, actionable, and engaging for this demographic. Outreach efforts will <br />highlight steps they can take to be personally prepared, stay informed, and contribute <br />to community readiness. <br />Responsibilities: <br />Comm LAB shall: <br />a. Develop messaging & strategies focused on young adult disaster preparedness <br />b. Provide an outline to Santa Ana Project Manager for approval. <br />c. Implement approved messaging and strategies tactics. <br />d. Collaborate with local colleges, influencers and community organizations to <br />extend outreach reach <br />Santa Ana shall: <br />a. Provide final approval of micro -campaign approach and overview. <br />Completion Criteria: <br />This task is considered complete upon completion of administrative deliverables and <br />when the Santa Ana Project Manager signs the completion letter for each subtask <br />noted below. <br />TASK 7-A: STAKEHOLDER COLLABERATION (Q3 251 <br />Objective: Promote disaster preparedness among young adults by collaborating with <br />key stakeholders to develop effective messaging and outreach strategies. This effort <br />aims to build partnerships that enhance campaign reach, ensuring young adults <br />understand how to prepare for natural disasters and take proactive steps in their <br />communities. <br />Task Description: <br />Work with key stakeholders, such as educational institutions, young adult groups, and <br />local influencers, to co -create relevant, engaging content. This collaborative approach <br />will ensure the messaging resonates with young adults and is tailored to their interests, <br />helping to drive increased awareness and action around disaster preparedness. Tasks <br />include: <br />a. Mapping key stakeholders and outlining opportunities for collaboration <br />b.
