Contractors/Subcontractors contracting <br />with a school entity shall (1) maintain compliance with the requirements of Texas Education Code Chapter 22 to the <br />school entity; and (2) require that each of their subcontractors complies with the requirements of Texas Education <br />Code Chapter 22. Contractors performing work at a school entity in Texas must comply with these statutes. <br />Compliance includes providing or causing employees and sub-contractor employees to provide <br />requested information and fingerprinting upon request. <br />Covered employees: Employees of a Contractor/Subcontractor who have or will have continuing duties related to <br />the service to be performed at a school entity and have or will have direct contact with students.
