1 EXHIBIT 1 <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> 1.7 Quality Assurance <br /> A. Installer Qualifications <br /> 1. Contractor is responsible for coordination of all electrical and cabling with the Project Manager <br /> to ensure seamless installation of power and tele/data to both the furniture and workstations. <br /> 2. Contractor shall provide an on-site supervisor to direct installation of all furniture items. <br /> 1.8 Pre-Installation Meetings <br /> A. Convene minimum of two weeks prior to commencing work. <br /> 1.9 Delivery, Storage and Handling <br /> A. Store products in manufacture's unopened packaging until ready for installation. <br /> B. Assemble and finish furniture at factory and deliver to site ready for installation. <br /> C. Protect items during delivery, storage and after installation so that there will be no indication of <br /> abuse or damage at the time of substantial completion of the Project. Replace or repair, to <br /> showroom condition, damaged work as directed by the Project Manager. <br /> D. Materials damaged due to improper protection during storage (dampness included) shall be <br /> rejected and removed from the site. <br /> E. Delivery during normal business hours, Monday— Thursday 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM and alternating <br /> Friday's (excluding holidays) and include full use of stairs and elevators in multi-story buildings. <br /> Size and location of stairs and elevators to be confirmed by Contractor. <br /> F. All deliveries to be confirmed and approved by Project Manager. <br /> 2.0 Definitions <br /> A. UL Listed — Underwriters Laboratories Inc. <br /> B. ANSI/BIFMA—American National Standard For Office Furnishings <br /> C. NFPA— National Fire Protection Association <br /> D. NEC — National Electrical Code <br /> E. California Technical Bulletin 117 - Requirements, Test Procedure and Apparatus for Testing the <br /> Flame Retardance of Resilient Filling Materials Used in Upholstered Furniture <br /> G. GreenGuard Certified— Certification for furniture means the product has been scientifically tested <br /> by UL Solutions, a third party organization, to ensure it emits low levels of Volatile Organic <br /> Compounds (VOCs) and other harmful chemicals, contributing to better indoor air quality. <br /> 2.1 Office Furniture Components <br /> A.
