EXHIBIT 2 <br /> The Consultant shall monitor quality on all deliverables,calculations,and other work products. <br /> The Consultant shall prepare a Quality Control Plan for all prime and sub-consultant tasks for <br /> the project and submit a copy to the City within thirty(30)calendar days of Notice-to-Proceed. <br /> This is not a separate task but shall be included as part of Project Administration. The <br /> Consultant shall attend meetings as required to complete the Project,including Caltrans Safety <br /> Review meeting, Design Review meetings, Constructability Review meetings, Quality <br /> meetings, and informational meetings with stakeholders. Provide the deliverables listed in <br /> other sections of the scope of work. <br /> A. Budgeting <br /> The Consultant shall prepare budgets for each task and milestone for the Project. Such <br /> budgets shall be entered into the Consultant's Management Information System along with <br /> actual costs incurred and used as a basis for cost monitoring and control. <br /> B. Cost Accounting <br /> Consultant shall prepare monthly reports of expenditures for the Project by task and <br /> milestone. Expenditures include direct labor costs, other direct costs and subconsultant <br /> costs. These reports shall be included as supporting data for invoices presented to the City <br /> every month and shall be in accordance with the City's invoicing requirements. <br /> C. Quality Control Plan <br /> The Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) shall be subject to quality control reviews <br /> before submittal. These reviews shall assure conformance to Caltrans and City standards <br /> and criteria as well as minimize typographical omissions. Consultant shall submit <br /> documentation of the completed QA/QC review. <br /> D. Progress Reporting <br /> Progress reports shall be prepared in accordance with City and grant guidelines. Reports <br /> shall be required monthly and shall accompany the invoice. <br /> E. Project Schedule (Critical Path Method Schedule) <br /> Within two (2) weeks from the Notice to Proceed (NTP), the Consultant shall provide a <br /> detailed schedule of anticipated services to meet the Scope of Work. Provide a schedule <br /> using calendar days with a list of tasks and sub-tasks, milestones, major activities and <br /> deliverables, including agencies review time (assume 4 weeks for Caltrans review and <br /> agency review of each submittal package), submittal and issuance of needed permits. <br /> Review of the schedule shall occur at subsequent trend meetings. Adjustments shall be <br /> made, as necessary, due to changing circumstances. Plans submitted to the City that are <br /> incomplete shall be returned to the Consultant unchecked and the Consultant shall be <br /> expected to maintain the Project delivery schedule at no additional cost to the City. <br /> Consultant shall be familiar with Caltrans' plan check submittal procedures and timelines <br /> and shall schedule plan check submittals in order to maintain the Project schedule. <br />
