6. Future plus Project Conditions: Future year traffic volumes with project roadway <br />configuration. <br />0 Traffic Study Area Locations <br />Focused Traffic Study shall analyze the following intersections and roadway segments, <br />consistent with the City of Santa Ana VMT and Traffic Impact Study Guidelines <br />(September 2019). <br />1. Santiago Street/Santa Ana Boulevard <br />2. Fuller Street/Santa Ana Boulevard <br />3. 1-5 SB Off-Ramp/Santa Ana Boulevard <br />4. Santa Ana Boulevard from Santiago Street to Fuller Street <br />5. Santa Ana Boulevard from Fuller Street to I-5 SB Off -Ramp <br />Although the project is anticipated to screen out from a VMT analysis due to the reduction <br />in travel Ianes, a VMT screening analysis is still required. <br />Consultant shall prepare a list of the proposed technical studies that would support the benefits <br />of the Project. Consultant shall coordinate and secure approval of Caltrans Environmental <br />review group on the list of studies prior to start of work on the Environmental Clearance effort. <br />7. ROADWAY DESIGN <br />All engineering work shall be performed by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of <br />California. All reports, plans, and cost opinions shall be to a level of professional competence <br />that is common among engineers performing like services. All final reports, plans, technical <br />specifications, and cost opinions shall be stamped and signed by the Civil Engineer responsible <br />for the work. <br />Consultant shall incorporate all environmental requirements and mitigation measures into the <br />design of the project, including, but not limited to, air/water quality, nesting birds/endangcred <br />species, etc. into the Project construction documents. <br />Prepare plans in AutoCAD 2022 .DWG or MicroStation Connect .DGN format and provide an <br />electronic file submittal in the preferred format to the City containing the plans (including all <br />xrefs) along with PDF files. Prepare final drawings for bidding and construction in PDF file <br />format with an additional sets on 24-inch x 36-inch bond paper. The original drawings and <br />digital files shall be the property of the City. <br />The special provisions and technical specifications section shall be prepared using Microsoft <br />Word conform to the Greenbook and City of Santa Ana boilerplate specifications for the street <br />and utilities portion of the project. Bridge Specifications shall be prepared in conformance <br />with the Caltrans Bridge Design Specifications, Division of Structures current edition. The <br />Consultant shall prepare and furnish special provisions for items of work included in the plans <br />which are not covered in the Standard Specifications, Caltrans-approved standard special <br />provisions, and City approved standard special provisions. <br />
