6. Future plus Project Conditions: Future year traffic volumes with project roadway configuration. 0 Traffic Study Area Locations Focused Traffic Study shall analyze the following intersections and roadway segments, consistent with the City of Santa Ana VMT and Traffic Impact Study Guidelines (September 2019). 1. Santiago Street/Santa Ana Boulevard 2. Fuller Street/Santa Ana Boulevard 3. 1-5 SB Off-Ramp/Santa Ana Boulevard 4. Santa Ana Boulevard from Santiago Street to Fuller Street 5. Santa Ana Boulevard from Fuller Street to I-5 SB Off -Ramp Although the project is anticipated to screen out from a VMT analysis due to the reduction in travel Ianes, a VMT screening analysis is still required. Consultant shall prepare a list of the proposed technical studies that would support the benefits of the Project. Consultant shall coordinate and secure approval of Caltrans Environmental review group on the list of studies prior to start of work on the Environmental Clearance effort. 7. ROADWAY DESIGN All engineering work shall be performed by a Professional Engineer registered in the State of California. All reports, plans, and cost opinions shall be to a level of professional competence that is common among engineers performing like services. All final reports, plans, technical specifications, and cost opinions shall be stamped and signed by the Civil Engineer responsible for the work. Consultant shall incorporate all environmental requirements and mitigation measures into the design of the project, including, but not limited to, air/water quality, nesting birds/endangcred species, etc. into the Project construction documents. Prepare plans in AutoCAD 2022 .DWG or MicroStation Connect .DGN format and provide an electronic file submittal in the preferred format to the City containing the plans (including all xrefs) along with PDF files. Prepare final drawings for bidding and construction in PDF file format with an additional sets on 24-inch x 36-inch bond paper. The original drawings and digital files shall be the property of the City. The special provisions and technical specifications section shall be prepared using Microsoft Word conform to the Greenbook and City of Santa Ana boilerplate specifications for the street and utilities portion of the project. Bridge Specifications shall be prepared in conformance with the Caltrans Bridge Design Specifications, Division of Structures current edition. The Consultant shall prepare and furnish special provisions for items of work included in the plans which are not covered in the Standard Specifications, Caltrans-approved standard special provisions, and City approved standard special provisions.
