This scope of work assumes that a brief technical memorandum will provide enough evidence that traffic volumes at Santa Ana Boulevard and adjacent 1-5 interchanges are not high enough to warrant a full detour assessment. Task Deliverables: Draft and Final TMP Task 12 Agreements & Permits The necessary third party permits for the design and construction will be obtained. 12.1 CPUC GO 88-B 12.2 SCRRA Rights of Entry 12.3 Caltrans Encroachment Permit 12.4 C&M Agreement Support Task Deliverables: • Draft and Final GO 88-B • SCRRA Right of Entry (DES) • SCRRA Right of Entry (CON) • Caltrans Encroachment Permit (DES) • Caltrans Encroachment Permit (CON) • C&M Agreement Supporting Documents Task 13 Bid & Construction Support Support will continue through the bid and construction phases of the project. 13.1 Bid Support 13.2 Conformed Documents 13.3 Construction Support Task Deliverables: • Response to Contractor RFIs • Contract Bid Review • Review of Shop Drawings & Submittals • Construction Change Request Review • Additional Drawings/Exhibits • As -Built Documents CITY OF SANTA ANA SANTA ANA BOULEVARD GRADE SEPARATION ■ NARK THOMAS Task 14 Optional Tasks Additional services may be provided under this task on an as -needed basis. 14.1 Construction Staking Mark Thomas will provide one set of construction stakes or offset staking as directed by the Contractor or the City of Santa Ana. Construction staking services will be performed in accordance with the work as outlined in Chapter 12 of the Caltrans Surveys Manual; Construction Surveys and will consist of construction survey services, including field surveys and the necessary office support to coordinate staking requirements with the Resident Engineer. Mark Thomas will coordinate field staking with the Contactor and/or the City of Santa Ana. Field staking will begin two working days after receipt of staking request, assuming all clarifications and the area is ready for staking. Mark Thomas will prepare and maintain a spreadsheet tracking all written staking requests, dates of requests, dates of staking and all notes (cut sheets) regarding the staking. Assumptions • Restaking due to lost or destroyed stakes will be performed as approved by the Contactor and will be compensated as extra work. • For the purposes of this proposal, one crew mobilization shall be defined as one day of continuous, uninterrupted staking effort to complete a staking priority. • After a survey request is received and if the survey field crews are mobilized to an area that is not ready for stakes, the Contractor will be charged a minimum of 4 hours of field crew time as an extra above the contracted amount. • Mark Thomas will receive a 3-week look - ahead schedule of operations and time estimates and discuss staking need sloperations with Contractor • It is assumed stakes will be used within three working days of being set in order to preserve the integrity of the staking.
