Holding both, a virtual and an in -person
meeting at the start may also offer insight into how
people wish to be engaged in subsequent
meetings, providing a level of confidence in the
efforts thereafter.
CITY OF SANTA ANA ,A
SANTA ANA BOULEVARD GRADE SEPARATION ■ IN
MARK THOMAS
Community & Pop -Up Events
Prior to two (2) public meetings, the Team will go
to the public, participating in up to a total of four
(4) scheduled community events or host pop- up
table events. Events will help to reach those
without internet access and build awareness,
educate the public, and encourage participation in
the meeting and comment process, ensuring
outreach is accessible to residents who may not
attend traditional meetings.
Spot Canvassing
If the City believes it beneficial, conduct up to one
(1x) round of door-to-door canvassing with
targeted businesses and residents that may be
directly impacted by the proposed improvements.
This tactic can be especially useful in on -boarding
key stakeholders into the process early, ensuring
no surprises later in the development process.
Stakeholder feedback will be documented and will
coordinate follow-up actions with the City and
consultant team to ensure issues are tracked and
addressed in a timely manner.
Community Surveys
Develop and administer up to two (2x) bilingual,
English and Spanish community surveys using a
Typeform or similar online preference survey
platform to support community input at key stages
of the Project. If utilized,
survey notification campaigns will be coordinated
to occur in tandem with planned community
meeting outreach efforts for efficiency.
