Packaged with the pistol were a single <br />cartridge labeled as being from the chamber, an empty thirteen cartridge capacity Glock magazine and one <br />cartridge labeled as being from the magazine. The two cartridges were repackaged and submitted as a new <br />evidence item. Packaged separately from the pistol (OCCL Item 5) were two empty thirteen cartridge <br />capacity Glock magazines, each with twelve cartridges. All twenty-six cartridges are Winchester brand .45 <br />Auto caliber, each with a T-Series® jacketed hollow point bullet. <br />A cloth patch for collecting residue was passed through the barrel and retained. The pistol is equipped with a <br />functional disconnector and trigger safety. The striker of the pistol will release with approximately five and <br />one-quarter pounds of trigger pull. <br />The pistol was test fired using four of the twelve cartridges from one of the magazines. Additionally, six of <br />the twelve cartridges from the other magazine were used to generate gunpowder patterns at muzzle to target <br />distances of 6, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 inches. No gunpowder particles were observed on the 60 inch distance <br />target. The barrel of the pistol has eight-sided right twist polygonal rifling. <br />The remaining fourteen cartridges from the two magazines (OCCL Item 5) and the gunpowder pattern targets <br />were repackaged and submitted as new evidence items. <br />An ASCLDILAB-lnternational accredited laboratory l]tf' Page 2 of 5
