MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING NO. C-9-0826 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />CONSULTANT shall review all completed design phase documentation by others <br />listed above in Sections 3.1.2 through 3.1.5 and below in Section 3.1.7. <br />CONSULTANT shall prepare a technical memorandum detailing findings of the <br />design phase documentation review. The report shall contain, but not be limited <br />to, the following: <br />a. Review Findings <br />b. Deficiencies <br />c. Changes of Existing Field Conditions (lane configuration, signal phasing, <br />etc.) <br />d. Missing Information / Incomplete Information <br />e. Information required to update the completed design phase <br />documentation by others <br />f. Recommendations Required to Complete the Remaining TSS Design <br />Finalization Tasks <br />The report shall be provided in sections in accordance to each design phase <br />document reviewed. <br />Bristol/State College BRT Corridor TSS Design Finalization Services deliverables <br />(in part to include): <br />A6a. Technical memorandum detailing findings of the completed design phase <br />documentation review. <br />3.1 .7 TASK A-7: BRISTOL/STATE COLLEGE BRT CORRIDOR TSS DESIGN <br />FINALIZATION SERVICES — SIGNAL TIMING OPTIMIZATION <br />Previous consultant developed a Draft model of the study area approved by the <br />AUTHORITY. Previous consultant calibrated the draft model based on travel <br />time, delay studies, field observations of queue lengths, and saturation flows for <br />heavy movements at key intersections. CONSULTANT shall review, verify, and <br />update the previously prepared Draft model of the study area, as defined in this <br />task. Signal synchronization optimization shall be conducted in Synchro 7.0 and <br />optimization shall be augmented with Tru — Traffic TS/PP version 8.0. <br />If the CONSULTANT elects to use alternative methodologies to augment or <br />replace certain aspects of the Synchro model such as pre-processing of certain <br />data sets or split analysis, and/or other types of processes, the CONSULTANT <br />shall describe these operations in detail in the report with supporting <br />documentation as to why these processes were used in lieu of or in <br />augmentation to the Synchro model. These methodologies shall also be <br />described in detail in the CONSULTANT'S proposal for this project. <br />CONSULTANT shall develop an operational model within SimTraffic software. <br />The SimTraffic model will identify those local areas or portions of the project that <br />Scope of Work 37 05/18/1 O <br />
