MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING NO. C-9-0825 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />CONSULTANT shall provide onsite assistance for turn-on of any new or modified <br />equipment. <br />CONSULTANT shall obtain all permits and pay all fees required by the agencies <br />necessitated by its operations for this SOW and no additional compensation for <br />fees will be allowed, therefore. CONSULTANT shall obtain all required <br />encroachment permits from Caltrans District 12. CONSULTANT shall pay any <br />and all Caltrans District 12 labor fees to install new and remove existing <br />equipment (controllers). CONSULTANT shall include all encroachment permit <br />costs in a lump sum price. AUTHORITY will not allow or approve any extra <br />costs. AUTHORITY will endeavor but not guarantee to have permit requirements <br />and associated fees removed or waived. All permits obtained shall be kept in a <br />readily available place on the job site at all times during equipment installation. <br />CONSULTANT shall fine-tune, or assist local agency staff in the fine-tuning of, <br />the new settings and timings. CONSULTANT shall fine-tune timings in the field <br />and record all changes. Fine-tuning shall be conducted during times and days <br />that are representative of the times and days for which coordination plans were <br />developed. Fine-tuning shall consist of, at a minimum, driving the Harbor <br />Boulevard BRT Corridor and visually verifying system operation relative to the <br />approved time-space diagrams provided during the TSS Design Phase. <br />Adjustments to offsets and splits shall be included as part of this task. <br />Upon final approval by the AUTHORITY and the respective agencies, one (1) <br />hard copy and one (1) electronic format timing chart, per intersection, shall be <br />provided to the respective agencies. One (1) timing chart per intersection, in <br />electronic format, shall be provided to the AUTHORITY. Timing sheets shall be <br />provided by CONSULTANT at time of turn on. <br />Harbor Boulevard BRT Corridor TSS Implementation Services deliverables (in <br />part to include): <br />B1a. Technical memorandum containing field implementation of optimized <br />traffic signal plans for existing corridor conditions, including all required <br />fine tuning and timing charts as requested by AUTHORITY and agency, <br />and final signal timing implementation plan. <br />The CONSULTANT shall complete all Harbor Boulevard BRT Corridor Signal <br />Timing Implementation tasks prior to May 12, 2011 . <br />4.3.2 TASK B-2: HARBOR BOULEVARD BRT CORRIDOR TSS IMPLEMENTATION <br />SERVICES -EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT <br />CONSULTANT shall provide a list of materials, number of units, and prices for <br />the Harbor Boulevard BRT Corridor Signal Synchronization, including traffic <br />signal equipment (trafFc signal controllers, traffic signal controller software, and <br />Scope of Work 79 05/18/1 O
