Comments from Staff <br />Mr. Edwards <br />Noted that City Council had approved the Historic Awards Program. <br />Advised that staff will be sending information packets to owners of property <br />on the Historic Register next week. <br />8. Comments from Historic Resources Commission <br />Commissioner Chinn <br />Requested status update of loans beiny processed through the Historic <br />Rehabilitation Loan Program. <br />Commissioner Giles <br />• Noted that City Council -had upheld the Commission action on the Martin <br />House. <br />• Reminded all present of the Floral Park Tour scheduled for April 27 and 28 <br />and noted that volunteers to serve as docents would be appreciated. <br />• Noted that he was advised by Tim Rush that the on April 27 the Discovery <br />Museum on West Harbor will be holding a Deaccessioning Sale of items of <br />historic interest that had been donated to the Museum. <br />Madam Chair Kings <br />• Requested that the next agenda include an item concerning the Ad Hoc <br />Committee for the Phillips-Hutton block. <br />• Advised that she and two staff members would be attending the workshop in <br />Napa next month. <br />• Noted that the Architecture Foundation had published a coloring book that <br />included five structures from Santa Ana. <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 3 APRIL 4, 2002 <br />
