Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project Area <br />The Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project Area was adopted by the City Council on December <br />4, 1989, by Ordinance No. NS-2039. The Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project Area consists <br />of approximately 781 acres <br />and is primarily located <br />along Bristol Street from <br />17th Street to Central flu <br />Avenue and the area east of <br />Fairview Street along 17th <br />and 1st Streets. Like many <br />other north/south corridors <br />in the City, the Bristol <br />Corridor is developed <br />primarily with older strip LOW <br />commercial uses. Bristol <br />Corridor was the most <br />recently adopted of the <br />Agency's redevelopment <br />projects and is still impacted <br />by many of the blighting <br />conditions identified at <br />T=FAII <br />project adoption including <br />i E30 <br />deterioration, substandard <br />0, A 9I.T0 E' <br />Tru <br />design (obsolescence), and <br />0017-- EID I MI <br />impaired investments (low <br />A1110 F11 II <br />retail sales and underutilized <br />19--===?)000 E <br />land). The Agency's <br />program of activities <br />includes infill construction I HE F901 <br />and rehabilitation to <br />eliminate deterioration, <br />Liu <br />obsolescence and improving M-Inun <br />the economic viability of the K n U P, 10 ILI 0 <br />corridor.
