Project 09 -1752 <br />Request for Approval of Change Order No. 3 <br />February 16, 2012 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />3. The precast water vault location was changed because it was in conflict with a <br />proposed SCE transmission and distribution pole. This change caused delays to <br />the project. This compensates the contractor for delay costs incurred during the <br />relocation of the vault, including loss of production, stand -by time, and <br />remobilization <br />AGREED COST = $11,424 <br />4. The contract requires the extension of a 24 -inch corrugated metal pipe to connect to <br />a catch basin on the northwest corner of Bristol Street and Warner Avenue. It was <br />discovered that the existing pipe was extremely corroded and needed to be replaced. <br />Prior to replacing the pipe, potholes needed to be excavated to determine the <br />existing utility locations.
