Less Than Significant Impact Based upon the Public Safety Element of the City's General Plan, the inundation area for Prado Dam affects portions of the City. Prado Dam is situated approximately 15 miles northeast of the project site. The Public Safety Element indicates that the project site is situated outside of the identified dam inundation area. In addition, no levees are situated in the vicinity of the ' project site. Thus, impacts in this regard would be less than significant. Mitigation Measures: No mitigation is required. j) Inundation by seiche, tsunami, or mudflow? ' Less Than Significant Impact A seiche is an oscillation of a body of water in an enclosed or semi- enclosed basin, such as a reservoir, harbor, lake, or storage tank. A tsunami is a great sea wave, commonly referred to as a tidal wave, produced by a significant undersea disturbance such as tectonic , displacement of a sea floor associated with large, shallow earthquakes.
