This may include <br /> 7 testifying at participant non-compliance hearings. <br /> <br /> 8 4.13 Provide internal forms that are not mandated by ADMINISTRATOR or <br /> 9 by program requirements for review and approval by ADMINISTRATOR prior to <br /> <br /> 10 implementation. <br /> <br /> 11 4.14 Ensure that all services provided to participants under this <br /> i <br /> 12 Agreement are conducted in a manner sensitive to literacy, language, and <br /> 13 socio-cultural issues that may impact participants. CONTRACTOR's staff shall <br /> 14 be trained in cultural differences to ensure their ability to recognize and <br /> <br /> 15 assist participants who demonstrate language or cultural barriers to <br /> 16 employment, including resistance to participation in Vocational Training <br /> <br /> 17 activities (VTR) and Work Experience (WEX). CONTRACTOR shall employ staff who <br /> 18 will provide services in the participant's language or obtain interpreters <br /> <br /> 19 when necessary. <br /> 20 5. PRINCIPLES <br /> <br /> 21 CONTRACTOR shall ensure that the delivery of services is based on the <br /> 22 following principles: <br /> <br /> 23 5.1 Opportunities shall be maximized to provide integrated, <br /> 24 coordinated and easily accessible resources for participants; <br /> <br /> 25 5.2 Services shall be family-friendly and family-centered; <br /> 26 5.3 Services shall be community-based and provide integrated services <br /> <br /> 27 that coordinate Federal, State and community funding opportunities; <br /> 28 5.4 Participants' strengths shall be identified, utilizing <br /> <br /> <br /> (WAM08A11) 6 of 18 (December 22, 2011) <br /> i <br /> 20B-48 <br />
