The Santa Ana Workforce Investment Board/Youth Council 2012 <br />Youth Business Network Project (YBNP) <br />of the participants who either need to complete necessary classes i.e. GED, ESL or participants <br />who have a desire to pursue further educational opportunities. The case manager will flag the <br />youth participants who are in need of these services and ensure that classes are made a priority in <br />their individual treatment plan. The goal to meet in this section is 65% to 70% of youth <br />participants will attain a degree or certificate in the area of need. <br />Literacy Numeracy Gains <br />The YBNP acknowledges that the current model as few resources in this area, however we will <br />make sure that through the guidance of the Services Navigators the YBNP will be able to elevate <br />our ability to offer literacy in numeracy gains as one of the primary goals to achieve. The goal <br />will remain at 41% although this 1St year will be a time to learn and acquire knowledge as <br />needed. <br />F. Facilities <br />Napsac Sports Apparel Urban Gear is in Santa Ana, CA on South Grand Avenue and the cross <br />street is 1St Street and Chestnut. Hours of operation are loam to 6pm. The facility is youth <br />friendly due to the interaction and involvement we already have with the youth in our <br />community. The majority of the BN Providers also reside in the same business complex as <br />Napsac. Transportation to locations that are not within the business complex will be provided. <br />Also the present location is ADA compliant with the American Disability Act. There is <br />capability for a computer lab with 6-8 computers and internet access with programs i.e. <br />Windows, Excel, and Word. The lab will be maintained by computer technician and there will be <br />adequate staff for the program with in-service trainings on all categories of the program, reading <br />material, video and lectures. <br />8 1 P a g e Exhibit A <br />
