Project BIR will be required, addressing the majority, if not all, of the CEQA checklist topics. A coniplete list of reference <br />sources used to prepare the Initial Study will be provided. <br />Deliverable:. <br />O Initial Study <br />NOV <br />The Planning Center will prepare a Notice of Preparation (NOP) using the City's standard form. A copy of the Initial Study <br />will be attached to provide an immediate explanation of the preliminary scope of issues to be included in (lie BIR. After City <br />approval of the NOP, The Planning Center will copy and distribute the NOP to the Stale Clearinghouse, responsible And <br />trustee agencies, and other Interested parties as identified by the City. A brief cover letter will be prepared to explain the <br />purpose and content of tine NOP and to clearly identify the time period, contact person, and address established for <br />submitting responses. <br />Deliverable: <br />C Notice of Preparation <br />SCOPING MEETING <br />'Fire Planning Center will assist the City ht organizing and conducting one public scoping meeting to present the main <br />characteristics of the proposal submitted by the applicant and to solicit comments regarding the scope and content of the <br />environmental issues to be addressed in the BIR. Prenieeting assistance will include scheduling the nneeting, preparing public <br />notices and agendes for City staff review, and mailing and publishing the final notices. It is assumed that the City will provide <br />addresses of surrounding property owners and residents selected to receive copies of the scoping meeting notice. At the <br />meeting, we will be prepared to discuss the environmental review process and to answer specific questions, as desired by tine <br />City. <br />Deliverable: <br />• Preparation for and attendance at EIR scoping meeting. <br />SCRI ENCHE:CI( FIR <br />The Planning Center will submit the Screencheck BIR pursuant to tine City's procedures and guidelines. The Screencheck EIR <br />will include all of the information described above, ns well as the Executive Stnunnnry. <br />Deliverable: <br />o Screencheck EIR <br />ENVIRONMENTAL Q.1L)AL ITY CONTROL. AND OTHER REVIEWS - SECOND SCREENCFII -CI( EIR <br />The Planning Center team will revise the Screencheck BIR pursuant to the City's comments and will submit tine Second <br />Screencheck EIR to the City for their review.
