Agreement for Janitorial Services <br />May 20, 2013 <br />Page 2of2 <br />As a result, the Santa Ana Police Department is recommending the City enter into a three-year <br />agreement with two one-year options with ABM Janitorial Services. ABM, provides janitorial <br />services to many other local public agencies including the Superior Courts of Orange County, the <br />City of Newport Beach and the City of San Juan Capistrano. To ensure a smooth transition of <br />janitorial providers, the Police Department also recommends amending the existing agreement with <br />Able Maintenance for an additional one month period. This will allow time for ABM to hire staff and <br />order equipment as well as provide time for PD Personnel staff to conduct any necessary <br />background checks.
