ZOA No. 2013 -03 & SPR No. 2013 -05
October 14, 2013
Page 2
Surrounding land uses include the Main Place Mall, commercial, retail and residential to the west;
Santiago Park, offices and parking structure to the south; a senior residential development and
offices to the east; and retail, offices and parking structure to the north (Exhibits 1 and 2).
City Place (SD -59)
Project Description
The City Place land use, planning and design provide a mixture of uses within a common setting. It
stresses a people oriented environment where pedestrian and automobile traffic can co -exist on -site to
create an experience of urban activity in a safe and high quality setting.
City Place has been designed with the commercial component oriented to the west end of the site and
the residential component on the east. The site has been aligned to allow the development to have a
greater presence along all of the frontage streets. The location of the buildings along Main Street, a
commercial corridor, provides a link to the corridor and a visual connection to the Main Place shopping
mall.
75D -4
