Since this property was once owned and <br />farmed by the Sakioka family, the theme for the project is to commemorate the important role of the Japanese - <br />American Immigrant agricultural community in Santa Ana. <br />• Open to all California artists <br />• Commissioning fee is estimated at $70,000 and must include design, fabrication and transportation of the work <br />to the site. Work will be installed by the City of Santa Ana. <br />• Call opens on February 1, 2014 and closes on April 1, 2014. <br />• Submissions will be accepted online only. <br />• Submissions will be reviewed and recommendations made by an expert art judging panel. <br />• Final selection is determined bythe City Council of Santa Ana. <br />
