Significant interpretations or clarification were made by an addendum to this <br />RFP, which were posted to the website. Addenda became part of the agreement documents. <br />XVII. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION AND DEADLINE <br />Proposals were due to the City of Santa Ana, at the date, time, and location set forth on the Notice <br />Inviting Proposals. Faxed and e-mail proposals were not be accepted. <br />XVIII. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />The RFP was intended to assess and evaluate each firm's capabilities as they apply to the <br />proposed project. <br />Submittal of Proposal <br />A. One (1) original of the response to the RFP shall be signed by a company official with the <br />power to bind the company. <br />B. Six (6) copies shall also be provided. <br />C. One (1) pdf copy of the submittal on a compact disc, USB flash drive or equivalent. <br />Each firm addressed each of the following items in its response to the RFP: <br />A. Statement of Qualifications - In order to maintain uniformity, the Statement of Qualifications <br />was required to be limited to a MAXIMUM of 20 PAGES (excluding front and back covers, <br />section dividers and exhibits). The page limitation includes all appendices, attachments, and <br />supplemental information. <br />The following information was required: <br />Cover Letter — A letter signed by a principal or authorized representative who made <br />legally binding commitments for the entity. <br />Firm and Personnel Experience: A profile of the firm's experience, including the <br />names and experience of personnel and subconsultants who will be providing <br />services. At a minimum, this was recommended to include the project <br />manager /principal agent, associates in charge when project manager /principal agent is <br />unavailable, key personnel, and an organization chart identifying only those who will <br />perform work for the proposed project and the percentage of each individual's time <br />devoted to this project. The project manager /principal agent shall be the primary <br />contact person to represent your firm and will be the person to conduct the <br />presentation, if invited for an interview. <br />3. Implementation Plan: Proposer submitted a general description of the deliverables <br />and timelines to implement the project. <br />4. Proposal Deposit (Bid Bond): Five - percent (5 %) of the total proposed annual contract <br />amount of the proposal in Exhibit C. <br />5. Irrigation Certification: Proposer submitted one of the acceptable irrigation <br />certifications listed on page 9. <br />District 4 Park Landscape Specification <br />
