power supply, flashers, Emergency Vehicle Pre - emption, etc.) in the <br />cabinet for proper operation. <br />• Field Equipment: <br />• The Contractor shall check all pedestrian push buttons for proper <br />operation. <br />• The Contractor shall check all vehicle and pedestrian signal heads for <br />proper operation. <br />• The Contractor shall check all poles and standards for damages. <br />• Contractor shall clean Video Detection camera lens once a year <br />• Contractor shall check and notify the City of any missing or damaged <br />Reflectorized Street Name Signs (RSNS) or traffic signs mounted on <br />the traffic signal poles. <br />• Maintenance of safety lights at traffic signal are done as part of Street <br />Lighting System Maintenance only. <br />• Maintenance Record: <br />The Contractor shall maintain a record log in each controller cabinet showing <br />the date and time of any service. It shall consist of: <br />• Routine Maintenance <br />• Extraordinary Maintenance <br />All records shall be legibly written or printed. These record logs shall become <br />property of the City. <br />(b) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV): <br />(i) Maintenance period: <br />The Contractor shall perform a complete inspection and service of each CCTV <br />once every three (3) months for proper operation and cleanliness. <br />(ii) Maintenance Tasks: <br />• Cabinets (if applicable): <br />Some CCTV locations have dedicated type 332 cabinets. Forthese <br />locations, the Contractor shall clean the cabinets thoroughly on the inside, <br />including all components. The Contractor shall remove all unauthorized <br />external attachment such as notices, posters, signs, etc, and notify the City of <br />any graffiti that is on the signal equipment. It is not the Contractor's <br />responsibility to remove the graffiti <br />o Ventilation system: <br />Tho contractor shall ensure that the cabinet's ventilation system is in <br />working order. Ensure that the Thermostat and Fan operates <br />properly. The air filter shall be replaced and dated every 90 days <br />(regardless of condition). <br />o Battery Backup System (if applicable): <br />The Contractor shall ensure that the battery backup system is <br />charged and in working order. <br />25L -15 <br />
