City of Santa Ana On -Call Demolition Services Proposal <br />Firm and Team Experience <br />Labor Philosophy <br />NCM employs more than 1,000 employees consisting of senior management and staff employees between its <br />headquarters in Brea, CA and 10 branch offices. The staff employees include accounting, administrative, <br />estimators, sales and clerical personnel as well as project managers and field supervision. <br />NCM also employs labor for field operations based upon specific projects; therefore the precise number varies <br />based upon the outstanding backlog. Approximately 1,000 laborers and field supervisors are employed on a steady <br />basis, with additional skilled technicians engaged on an as -needed basis to supplement our work force. <br />For this particular project NCM will work utilizing open -shop trades and will resource our team predominantly from <br />the Brea, CA office. NCM evaluates our employees based on experience and training and will not hire employees <br />that will compromise our safety or the safety of the project. "Fit for duty" is important to NCM as well as experience <br />and behavioral safety. <br />Commitment to Local Community <br />NCM is committed to investments in the local communities as well as the states in which we work. We have <br />approached this project and are driven by the idea that mobilizing the qualified subcontractors, vendors and labor <br />force of the local communities makes the greatest social impact and advances key business goals. <br />We will solicit and utilize qualified local subcontractors whenever possible for services such as electrical and <br />mechanical needs on this project. NCM's economic impact on this project will reach beyond the subcontract needs. <br />NCM will purchase local goods and services where available.
