CAPER <br />September 16, 2014 <br />Page 2 <br />HUD regulations require that the CAPER be available for a 15 -day public review period prior to <br />being submitted to HUD. On August 18, 2014, a public notice was published in the Orange <br />County Register, La Opinion, and Nguoi Viet News indicating that the draft report would be <br />available for review beginning August 18, 2014. The draft CAPER (Exhibit 2) was also <br />available for public review on the City's website. No comments have been received to date. <br />All comments that are received will be included in the final document submitted to HUD, which <br />is due no later than September 28, 2014. Due to the timeframe for submission, the final <br />document may include minor revisions pending final activity and expenditure reports. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #4 Fiscal Sustainability, Objective <br />#1, Maintain a stable, efficient and transparent financial environment.
