5,12 Reallocation of Salary Rate Ranges. An employee who is employed in a classification <br />covered by this MOU which is reallocated to a different salary rate range from that <br />previously assigned shall be retained in the same salary step in the new salary rate range as <br />he or she had previously held in the prior rate range and shall retain credit for length of <br />service in such step towards advancement to the next higher step. <br />5.13 Acting Pay. An employee in a classification covered by this MOU may be appointed by <br />the Executive Director to serve in an acting capacity during an unplanned absence from <br />work of thirty (30) calendar days or more of another employee represented by SAMA. <br />Represented SAMA employees who are granted "acting pay " shall receive a five percent <br />(5 %) increase or the minimum rate of the higher salary range while serving in an "acting" <br />capacity. <br />55394.00000 \13061631.1 <br />17 <br />25H -19 <br />
