1 City of Santa Ana Response to Request For Proposal (RFP) Medical Services Review 7.J9/15
1
1
Additionally, as part of our job analysis
I
Occu-Med can include a review of the City's
I
current testing protocols and procedures to
I
determine if any additional CAL/OSHA
Specific testing could be included as part of the
pre -placement medical exam. Or, the City's
desire to review its drug testing policy in light
of the Lanier Case.
OCCu-Med projects that it can accomplish an
I
analysis of all required City job classes in no
more than one weeks time. This presumes that
I
the City can schedule the 1-2 hour sessions
efficiently with at least 4-5 job classes
represented per session and an adequate
amount of incumbents is each job class.
;A
MGNY
MCgNINtl
$Tpnliir.l
rnxra ammaxx
kvnMnrvu
9Tcaeirus
$YV49111tlE Srk&N
sorsa or
4+MN gtivexG
PilYSICAL ABILITIES
Vmmx
YrN4AL SQI.}P
trrven,aiNxrmx
9TxYr4 BYRNNCfY
gwxunw v_czmiww
BEYArtt Fl6%rRR1YY
Naa aoor
WNOINAYION
iai ONxTdncTT
e ONxtertie
The City could expect to pay $1,000 a day aNUi r
L,j Rs9YNdMIG SYM1kMUrN
For each day of onsite evork performed and Yj
another $1,000 for any offsite work performed.
OCCa-Med estimates we could complete all necessary analysis in I -weeks time (with another week
needed to wrap-up off -sire evork).
With the completion of Job Analysis and approved Medical Exam Component Profile the City can be
confident that all medical testing is job related and consistent with business necessity. After our initial job
analysis is completed Occu-Med can on an annual basis refresh the City's Job Profiles to reflect changes
to the physical demands of the position. This will also be performed for the City's Medical Exam
Component Profiles in order to stay compliant with changes to applicable laws, like the Lanier case, or
updates to Guidelines like POST or NFPA. OCCn-Med is prepared to begin work for the City on March 3,
2015, or sooner, in order to ramp -up. NOTE: If the City elects not to purchase this service Occu-Med
can work from the City's existing Job Descriptions and Medical Examination Protocols. Our job
analysis service can always be performed at a later date.
7 0ccu Med
