- Developing, implementing, and reviewing Area Maritime Security Plans for ports, <br />waterways, and coastal areas <br />- Updating and refining threat matrices <br />- Conducting cyber risk and vulnerability assessments <br />- Conducting assessments and exercising existing catastrophic incident response <br />and recovery plans and capabilities to identify critical capability gaps that cannot <br />be met by existing local, regional, and State resources <br />- Activities that directly support the identification of specific catastrophic incident <br />priority response and recovery projected needs across disciplines (e.g., law <br />enforcement, fire service, EMS, public health, behavioral health, public works, <br />agriculture, information technology, and citizen preparedness) <br />- Activities that directly support the identification of pre-designated temporary <br />housing sites <br />- Activities that support the identification and development of alternate care sites <br />- Conducting community assessments, surveys, and research of vulnerabilities and <br />resource needs to determine how to meet needs and build effective and tailored <br />strategies for educating individuals conducting assessments of the extent to which <br />compliance with the integration mandate of disability laws is being achieved <br />- Conducting Preparedness research <br />- Conducting or updating interoperable emergency communications capabili ties <br />and broadband needs assessments at the local, regional, or Statewide level <br />- Soft target security planning (e.g,, public gatherings) <br />Developing, hosting, or participating in bombing prevention/counter- improvised <br />explosives device (IED)- specific planning initiatives to include: <br />- Incorporating appropriate IED- specific intelligence and threat analysis when <br />developing and maintaining a THMA; <br />- Conducting inventories and assessments of capabilities or typed resource using <br />the counter - IED - specific DHS National Counter -IED Capabilities Analysis <br />Database (NCCAD) program for use in applicable TH1RAs, preparedness <br />reporting, or strategies; <br />- Conducting DHS Multi - Jurisdiction IED Security Planning (MJIEDSP) <br />workshops to develop THIRA -based plans and strategies that maximize the use of <br />limited resources; <br />- Developing IED hazard- specific EOP annexes. <br />- Implementing a Corrective Action.
