DURABILITY <br />Standard measures related to the durability of all major systems have been incorporated herein. <br />MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT <br />All materials and equipment shall comply with all applicable state and local codes adopted by the City of Santa Ana and <br />all applicable standards described herein. All materials and equipment shall be new, in excellent condition, and <br />delivered to the project in the manufacturer's original packaging. <br />DISASTER MITIGATION STANDARDS <br />Disaster mitigation standards are included in the state and local codes adopted by the City of Santa Ana. <br />ACQUISITION (RENTAL HOUSING) <br />Prior to acquisition, rental housing shall comply with all applicable state and local codes adopted by the City of Santa <br />Ana and all applicable standards described herein. <br />LEAD BASED PAINT <br />All housing built before 1978 must comply with 24 CFR Part 35 Subpart J and HUD's Lead Safe Housing Rule regarding <br />the evaluation and control of lead -based paint hazards.
