ON -GOING COMPLIANCE <br />• Deficiencies that pose an imminent threat to public health or safety must be addressed immediately. <br />SITE <br />LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION I <br />NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS <br />• Compliance with all current codes, standards and ordinances is required. <br />• The use of drought and disease resistant vegetation, water efficient sprinklers, and EPA Water -Sense labeled <br />irrigation controllers is required. <br />REHAB / ACQUISITION / ON -GOING COMPLIANCE <br />• Compliance with all applicable codes (federal, state, and local) is generally required. Some pre- existing, <br />non - conforming conditions may be allowed as long as required permits were obtained and they meet the <br />minimum standards described below. <br />• The use of drought and disease resistant vegetation, water efficient sprinklers, and EPA Water -Sense labeled <br />irrigation controllers is required for substantial rehab projects. <br />MINIMUM STANDARDS (REHAB / ACQUISITION / ON -GOING COMPLIANCE) <br />• All landscaping and irrigation shall be reasonably maintained and free of any adverse conditions determined <br />to be a health and safety hazard. <br />• Landscaping shall be relatively healthy and free of disease or infestation. <br />• Landscaping that is damaging or threatening to damage a building shall be trimmed or removed. <br />• Overgrown landscaping that obstructs access to or egress from a property shall be trimmed or removed. <br />• Irrigation systems shall be functioning properly. <br />ON -GOING COMPLIANCE <br />• Deficiencies that pose an imminent threat to public health or safety must be addressed immediately. <br />SITE <br />SITE LIGHTING <br />NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS <br />• Compliance with all current codes, standards and ordinances is required. <br />• The use of appropriate timers and Energy Star labeled fixtures is required. <br />REHAB/ ACQUISITION / ON -GOING COMPLIANCE <br />• Compliance with all applicable codes (federal, state, and local) is generally required.
