The sizes of the prints will vary and will be <br />determined as the proposed project progresses, this will allow me to find the ideal <br />presentation based on core topics to represent Santa Ana. The photography on the two <br />14'x8' walls will be displayed on unconventional/ creative mediums with the base being <br />the 4'x8' plywood sheets and large scale Oce prints. They will be cut and formed to <br />compliment the photography on display on the 14'x8' wall spaces. <br />The exhibit will be promoted with a print and online presence by Bowers Museum and <br />usage of my resources such as social media, 4 "x6" postcards, collaborative promotion <br />with the Downtown Santa Ana art community, local radio interviews, local publications, <br />a website dedicated to the exhibit, and word of mouth with the network of artists based <br />in Santa Ana. <br />Supplemental Question 1:: <br />All the resources for the proposed project: <br />Life and Culture in the Golden City <br />A Social Documentary of Santa Ana presented in Photography <br />have been taken into account. Bowers Museum has agreed to host the final <br />presentation of the project with a set date of early May 2017. <br />When I photograph the key aspects of Santa Ana, I will be asking permission from the <br />owners when I feel I need to capture the interior of a building or business establishment. <br />There are no other additional resources needed from the City of Santa Ana. <br />Supplemental Question 2:: <br />The proposed project: <br />Life and Culture in the Golden City <br />A Social Documentary of Santa Ana presented in Photography <br />is a new project and has not been presented in any location in or out of the City of <br />Santa Ana. <br />Supplemental Question 3:: <br />Life and Culture in the Golden City <br />A Social Documentary of Santa Ana presented in Photography; will have the final <br />presentation at Bowers Museum with a date of early May 2017. The exhibit will be on <br />display for 2 days (May 4th -5th, 2017). The admission for this event will be $10 for <br />Santa Ana residents. Bowers Museum must charge admission and we are also in -talks <br />about additional discounts to offset the costs to the museum. The goal is to have the <br />exhibit accessible to the general public, specifically Santa Ana residents. <br />I will present the photography of the social documentary in segments based on the <br />categories/ subjects I plan to photograph. The viewer will enter the museum space and <br />begin the experience of the City of Santa Ana (historic architecture, murals, locations, <br />residents, etc.) in photographs and brief descriptions of each section.
