COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. C-6-1516 <br />EXHIBIT B <br />The AUTHORITY shall require that the Construction Contractor keep the traffic signal system <br />in operations at all times during construction by providing temporary overhead wiring except for <br />switchover shutdowns as described in the specifications. Additionally, the AUTHORITY shall require <br />the Construction Contractor to comply with CITY approved working hours and shutdown periods. The <br />AUTHORITY and CITY will coordinate to ensure that the appropriate Traffic Engineering staff are in <br />attendance for all traffic related milestones. <br />4.4 WATER SERVICE SHUTDOWNS <br />All water service shutdowns shall be coordinated with the CITY Representative. CITY shall <br />provide a list of all affected customers. Affected customers shall be notified in writing by the <br />AUTHORITY at least two weeks in advance of all shutdowns and once more forty-eight (48) hours <br />prior to shutdown. Information shall include date, time and duration of shutdown. Turning the water <br />system mains on and off shall be performed by the CITY. Under no circumstances shall the <br />Construction Contractor operate valves, hydrants, and other appurtenant equipment on the existing <br />public water system. <br />1 <br />4.5 PUBLIC NOTIFICATION <br />t <br />All public notifications will be coordinated with the CITY Representative. The AUTHORITY will <br />make all public notifications required in advance for CITY utility shutdowns, road closures, and other <br />activities related to the AUTHORITY's construction activities as required. <br />4.6 CONSTRUCTION ACCESS <br />The Plans and Specifications identify limits of construction, other than the CITY's right of way, <br />that will be required to construct the Project including property at the Civic Center parking lot, the <br />vacated section of 4'h Street at Sasscer Park, and the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center. The <br />City shall cooperate with the AUTHORITY to provide access to such CITY property consistent with <br />the requirements provided in the Plans and Specifications; provided that AUTHORITY's use thereof <br />shall not unreasonably interfere with the CITY's use for its purposes. In obtaining such access, <br />AUTHORITY shall be responsible for maintaining such CITY property in at least as good a condition <br />Exhibit B <br />Page 4 <br />
